Ticket types, capacity and registration questions

Each ticket type has a price, a total quantity, an optional sale window and a maximum per order. A ticket type can be a draft (not visible), on sale, or closed.

• Capacity is enforced at checkout. Inventory is reserved atomically, so the last five tickets cannot be sold to twelve people.
• Paid checkouts hold tickets for 30 minutes. Abandoned holds are released automatically.
• Free tickets are issued immediately. Paid tickets are issued only after the payment provider confirms payment.
• Registration questions apply to every attendee at checkout. Short text and single choice are supported; mark a question required to block checkout without an answer.

Groups

A buyer can purchase several tickets and name each attendee at checkout, or assign names later from their account. Each attendee gets their own QR ticket by email once assigned.
