Refund policy

How refunds for tickets and exhibitor fees work on EventOS.

Last updated 14 October 2026

Draft wording
This page describes how EventOS behaves today. The final wording is subject to Reward Land's legal review before launch.

Tickets

Tickets are sold by the organiser. Each organiser sets a refund policy for their event; if none is shown, contact the organiser directly. When an organiser refunds an order, the ticket is cancelled, the QR code stops working at the door and the refund is returned to the original payment method by the payment provider.

Exhibitor fees

Participation fees are paid to the organiser under the terms of the exhibitor invitation. Refunds, if any, follow those terms.

Reward Land usage fees

Usage fees are calculated from unique checked-in attendees recorded in the append-only ledger. Reprints, re-entries and no-shows are never charged. Disputes about an invoice should be raised within 14 days of issue; we reconcile against the ledger line by line.

Failed and expired payments

If a payment fails or a checkout expires, no ticket is issued and nothing is charged. Held inventory is released.
